amulet of the earth

introducing the heart of the blue deer

Crafted with 122 stitches. Designed to be filled with your personal intentions and worn close to your heart to amplify its vibration. Each amulet carries a piece of nature inside, like sand, small stones, aromatic herbs and flowers from the rivers, lakes and mountains of the Swiss Alps, as well as blessings and caresses from forests, jungles, deserts, mountains, and volcanoes across the globe.

The journey of creating the Amulet of the Earth began with my first cross-stitch project, featuring the symbol of the Peyote a sacred plant used in ceremony. After months of dedication, on the night I completed it, I dreamt of the Blue Deer, who spoke to me and said: "Take a petal of this peyote flower as a reminder of my heart, to guide you towards the path of good living."

The Blue Deer or Tamatsi Kauyumari, is the central figure in the spiritual traditions of the Wixarika comunity. He is considered a guide, a messenger of the gods, and the first shaman. The Blue Deer is believed to have led the ancestors of the Wixárika to the sacred land of Wirikuta, where they discovered peyote or hikuri, the sacred cactus that connects them to the divine. Tamatsi Kauyumari is then associated with wisdom, spiritual enlightenment, and transformation.
