alas de sirena

el vuelo de una mexicana

Born in Mexico City. I am the daughter of  Raquel Saad Gonzalez  and Juan Jose Rosado Camarena.

I grew up as an only child until the age of 14 when my little sister was born. At this time I left Mexico to continue my studies in California. At the age of 18 I returned to Mexico City to persue a college degree in Marketing months before graduation I dropped out. I was ready to decide for myself what to do with my life. My father had passed away, I was in a toxic relationship, I felt lost, I was angry, I was sad, I felt alone, I needed my life back. I booked myself a flight to Argentina for 2 months in times when smartphones did not exist I didnt have a destiny I planned all the journey once I was there having feedback from the locals. After this trip I knew I had to leave everything that i knew and start over. At the age of 26 I moved by the beach in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo in the south of Mexico. I arrived with my dog and all my belongings to the place I called home for the next 13 years. Playa del Carmen witness my deepest transformations and continued to embraced me unconditionally, it offered me the tools to become a better version of myself, it gave me a home a purpose and a family. A chapter of my life had come full circle and a new one began 10 years ago when I moved to Switzerland. Here is where the story continues...
